Driving directions
from Liberia are as follows:
Leave the airport and at the main road turn right. Or if you are leaving
the car rental place, head away from Liberia toward Santa Cruz. If
you need gas, you ought to buy it somewhere along this road before coming
to Junquillal. Probably
about 40 minutes from the airport, just before the bridge into Santa
Cruz, you will turn right where you see signs for Junquillal.
DO NOT TURN RIGHT AT BELEN where you see signs for lots
of beaches.
*Follow this road
to where the road divides... go
left to Playa Junquillal. The route is well marked and the road is great. You will be making
a right
at the next intersection, following the signs to Paraiso and
Junquillal, and go straight all the way into the town of
Paraiso.
You will go to the left at the plaza in Paraiso at the stop sign, after
the bridge the road turns to dirt and we are located 1 min from there
on the left. You will see a small sign
for Hotelito Si Si Si and
you
can
enter
the parking lot there or continue on to the entrance to Tierra Pacifica
where the guards can show you where to go. PLEASE NOTE: if checking
in after dark please go to the main Tierra Pacifica gate so that the
guards can call us and show you where to go. The gate will be closed,
but the guards will come open it when you approach.
Driving directions from San Jose are as follows:
From San Jose leave the airport and follow the signs in the direction
of San Ramon. You will be traveling the Pan American Hwy north
bound.You will drive about 2 hours or more and see the signs for
Nicoya, Puente
la Amistad, and Santa Cruz. You will go left and over the bridge.
At this point you are 2 hours from Playa Junquillal. When the road
ends, turn
right and go past Nicoya and Santa Cruz. Get gas in Santa Cruz
if you are low. As you leave Santa Cruz you will immediately cross over
the bridge and turn
left following
the signs to Tamarindo and Junquillal. From that point, you will follow
the
directions from Liberia starting at the *.
